been in operation since 1984.

2006 - Was developed initially in 2006 as a joint venture between Collins Builders
and a stock trader from Chicago. The development included two houses 986 West Shore and
990 West Shore Drive.
Initially there was opposition to the development from pre-existing landowners on Long Point
The end lots had no right of way or access to the public road. After several options and
lawsuits the owners of the 986 West Shore property purchased the access roan from West
Shore Circle to the 986 West Shore Property and the Long Point development began |

He had cottages on the East Shore back in the 1980's and 1990's; first
at:1680 E Shore and then
at 1614 E Shore
Tom Spiece turned the house into a personal museum of his collected artifacts,
memorabilia and trophies.

2015 - it underwent a compete renovation, including fixing several structural and functional
irregularities and redecorating the entire property. The features are 257 feet of frontage
on the lake; every room is designed to have a water view; rhe house has four bedroom suites
and a bunk room (sleeps 14); there are 6.5 bathrooms, heated floors, steam shower, jacuzzi
tubs, home automation, gourment kitchen, wet bar, gas fireplace, two seperate laudry facilities,
wine cellar, oversized boat storage garage and private drive.
