Highway Commission Puts In Busy Day at Culver

    Culver, Indiana - May 21 [1920] The state highway commission put in a busy day at Culver dividing its time between listening to arguements for the proposed new highway from Warsaw to Argos, Culver, and North Judson and watching evolutions of the Cilver cadets in a special review and program of military excerises arranged for the vistors

    Col. Gignilliat welcomed the commission and committees from Argos, North Judson and other towns along the route

    A commitee of seven business men from North Judson, four from Argos, four from Medaryville, one from Reneselaer and a local committee headed b y Representatives S. C. SHilling presented the claims of the proposed route for the state highway, which will touch Winona Lake, Lake Maxinkuckee and Bass Lake.

    Commissioners Wright, Campbell and Crawford were present for the conferences. - Indianapolis Star.
