Allen's First Addition  



Also referred to as Allen's Woods and now more commonly known as West Shore Circle

It sit between Lake Maxinkuckee and Hawk Lake or Little Maxinkuckee as it was once known as.


1958 - Oct 1 Culver citizen - Sam and Bill Allen, partners in West Shore Boat Service of Culver, are pleased with the completion of their new aluminum boat storage building located south of the Sam Allen home and west of a new road that will serve the property of a new sub-division the Allen Family is opening that will over look Lake Maxinkuckee.


The plat of the area known as Allen's First Addition. iyt has also been known as "Allen's Woods'.


Some of the houses in the back are over looking Hawk Lake. Back in 1993 it was listed as Westwood Circle in the lake directory. These houses also bore the West Shore address too.

    The aluminum boat storage building located south of the Sam Allen home and west of a new road hat will serve the property which the Allen families are opening into a sub-division the Allen Family overlooking Lake Maxinkuckee


1958 - Allens Addition, Allens 1st Addition aka "Allens Woods" and the Schultz Addition which comprised of railroad property until 29 Jul 1976 when the 32 mile long track between Logansport and Culver was abandoned by the Pennsylvania Railroad.
