The Culver Citizen, J. H. Koontz & Son, proprietors, commends itself to its 2,000 or more readers as a conservative, but an
energetic mewsgathered from the ample field of Lake Maxinkuckee, CUlver, the summer resort, Culver Military Academy and
Naval School, and surrounding country. the paper is non-sectarian and non-partisan, but is no less valuable on that account
as a stanch supporter of all that effects the interests of the community and as an encourager of the spirit of enterprise,
without which no community ever thrives. The plant itself is valuable, in that it is complete with the best type and publishing
machinery. The circulation is exceedingly large for the territory, and the job work is, also exceptionally large. The success and
profit of "The Culver citizeb' is due, largely to the work of the foreman, M. O. A. Gandy, who is certainly a "master mechanic"
in his business.
