James L. Mosher, a member of Miles H. tibbets Post no. 1260, Plymouth, Ind. entlisted in the Twenty-first battery,
Indiana light artillery, and was a part of the Army of the Cumberland, under the general command of Gen. George H.
Thomas, Fourteenth Army Corps, Third brigade. The Twenty-first battery was one of the celebrated war organizations
on that awfully contested field of chicamauga. it is the honor for a lifetime to have been a member of the battery on that
great occasion, for the nation and a principal event of the war. Cmorade mosher was in the battles of Hoover's Gap and
Nashville. he was two years and ten months in the service. Comrade mosher has been a member of the Miles H. tibbets
post 20 years.
