    Enoch Andrews, Well Known Contractor, Dies

    Enoch H. Andrews, age 58, of Route 2, Hawk Road, Culver, died at 11:15 p.m. Thursday in the South Bend Osteopathic Hospi tal . He had been ill for three months and had been in the hospital for 10 clays.

    Mr. Andrews was horn March 21, 1905, in Fulton County to George and Minnie Rush Andrews and when a small child, moved to the Culver community where he has since resided.

    He was married to Nellie Davis on March 26, 1923, at Plymouth.

    For the past 38 years Mr. Andrews was owner and operator of the Andrews Construction and Conracting Co.

    He was a member of the Maxinkuckee Methodist Church where he had been Sunday School Superintendent for the past 20 years.

    Surviving with his widow are two daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Donna) Stoneburner of Roswell, N M. and Mrs. Ward (Bettie) Perkins of Gary; two sons, George of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Sgt. 1C Jack Andrews of Brooke Army Medical Center. San Antonio, Tex.; 10 grandchildren ; two great-grandsons; a brother, Thomas Andrews of Argos; three sisters, Mrs. Lloyd (Lefa) Heeter, Mrs. Elbert (Edna) Graham and Mrs. Clyde (Maxine ) Dennett, all of Culver.

    One brother and two sisters preceded h im in death.

    Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Maxinkuckee. Methodist Church with Rev. Clyde Beckner, pastor, officiating and burial was in the Culver Masonic Cemetery. The Grossman Funeral Home of Argos was in charge of arrangements. - February 5, 1964
