John James CAMPBELL, 62, of 715 Neuva Gorda, Culver, died at 4:20 p.m. Friday at Holy Cross Parkview Hospital, Plymouth,
after a long illness.
He was born March 31, 1923 at Logansport to Hugh and Carrie BALL CAMPBELL, and was a lifetime resident of the Leiters Ford
and Culver areas. On June 30, 1956 at Darlington, he was married to Minnie VERMILLION, who survives. He was a member of
the Logansport Moose Lodge, and retired in 1982 from Rockwell International at Knox.
Surviving with the wife are a daughter, Karen BATTA; a son, Carl [CAMPBELL], and two granddaughters, Katy and Dorothy
BATTA, all of Culver.
Services were to be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Leiters Ford United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert HANSEN officiating.
Burial was to be in the Leiters Ford I.O.O.F. Cemetery. The Bonine Funeral Home, Culver, was in charge of arrangements.
