1904 - City meat market - D. G. Walter - Menser Building corner of Main and Washington

1904 - Mar 10 Henry Oyler has- moved his shoe shop into his building south of the hardware
1904 - MAr 10 - Thomas Medbourn has sold; his interest in the, pop factory to Isaac Kaley and the firm will be
known as Green & Kaley. A building will be erected south of the town, jail as soon as the weather
permits.
1904 - Mar 10 - James Lohr has purchased the Medbourn & Green restaurant, removed the target range and bathroom, and is making
arrangements to run a first class restaurant. He will serve lunch at all hours and warm meals.
1904 - Mar 24 - Kaley and Green are laying the foundation for their new building to be used as a pop factory
1904 - May 12 - Mrs. Foss has sold her bakery to John Zechiel, jr. Mr. Zechiel will conduct the bakery in its present location.
1904 - May 19 - Fire in the rear of Foss’ bakery caused some excitment Monday morning. The blaze was a small one and was easily put out.
If it would have had a few minutes more headway, it is quite likely that the bakery would have been consumed, with a
number of adjacent buildings.

not fully decided what he will do in the future.
1904 - Aug 25 - It is rumored that several new ice houses will be built this fall. I t is to be hoped that the rumor
will prove true,*as the ice business has proven a good thing for Culver
in the past and should continue so.

1904 - Nov 10 - Samuel Medbourn is putting a business stone wall under his
rooms occupied by the "Surprise Store.”
1904 - Nov 17 - D. A Bradley and son Edwin have dissolved partnership. The
business hereafter be conducted by Edwin Bradley
1904 - Nov 24 - Louis Warner has taken charge of the dray line recently purchased of Jake Landis.
Aug 25 - 1904 - The Culver branch of the Big Blue Store will close out their enitre stock by Oct. 1st. ther rooms
occupied by them has been rented to Davis & Howsrdwho will put in a modern bakery and restaurant.
Aug 25 - 1904 Messers Howard and Davis of chicago have rented the store room and basement now occupied by
Allman's clothing store to take possession Oct. 1st and will put in a modern bakery and restaurant Mr. Davis is a
baker with years of experience. They will aslo have an ice cream parlor and soda fountain.
