1905 - Mar 2 - - A Business Change

    D. B. Young has leased his machine shop to the Culver Novelty company, of which he is a member, The new company is incorporated with a capital stock of $9,000, and will manufacture Young’s Rotary Carburetor and Gasoline Mixer. Some wonderful results have been attained with this mixer, the tests showing a saving of from 40 to 80 per cent, in the consumption of gasoline, and at the same time an increase in power of from 10 to 15 per cent. Repair work on engines and machinery will be done, and will be under the supervision of Mr. Young. All work will be cash, with extra charges for night work. 1905 - Aug 31 - The Culver Novelty Company will abandon repair work for the present and devote all their time and energy towards manufacturing and marketing Young’s Rotary Carburetor.

1905 - Mar 16 - Peter Keller, the barber, has sold his town property to Mr. Tyner. who comes here from Wabash.

1905 - Jun 15 - Messrs. Litzenberger and Newhart have purchased a merry-go-round and have set it up near the depot. They will have everything ready for business in a few days.

1905 - June 22 - D. B. Young has placed a new four-horse-power Fairbanks-Morse gasoline engine in the Howard & Davis property, which will be used in their ice cream factory

1905 - June 22 - Mr. Shambaugh has purchased the bakery of Wm. Foss and has secured a baker from Chicago. He continues to do business at the old stand

1905 - Jun 29 - Miss Edna Stahl has purchased the Wm. Foss bakery .--Plymouth Independent.

1905 - Aug 3 - Mr. Austin is building a shop for the manufacture of picture frames, with living rooms overhead, on the rear of the lot bought of U. S. Burkett.

1905 - Oct - 26 - 10. F j . Poor is enlarging the room in which he has his barber shop and is other wise improving it

1905 - Dec 21 - For good barber work try the Palace Barber Shop, one door south of the hardware.—Murray Bros., Propietors.
