Moving Day Scenes At New Grade Building

Students, Teachers, Room Mothers Share In Big Moving Operation Students of the first six grades of the local elementary school are by this time getting fairly well acclimated to their new and modern quarters provided by the partially completed new elementary building.

The students and teachers took up residence in the completed north wing, of the grade building Friday afternoon, Nov. 7, and the following Monday they began to feel at home as they swung into their daily routine.

This last Monday evening a large group of visiting patrons took the opportunity of the Open House to inspect the partially completed building. School officials and teachers were on hand to show the visitors the modern and well equipped rooms.

Several men spent several evenings assisting in readying the furniture and placing it in position. Pictures here at the left record the day of moving into the new building, a day that will not soon be forgotten.

Miss Page's grade students assisted by room mothers are pictured with heavily ladened arms coming from the old building to the new building.
