1940 - Tommy is one of the several sophomore members if the Culver High
School Basketbal squad, but his ability crowded him int the varsity line up last Year,
giving him a letter as a freshamn; a rather rare occurrence. He has also won letter in
basebal,l and track, is a member of the Hi-Y, is president of the sophomore class,
was vice=president od his freshman class and student council representative last year.
Tommy is one of the outstanding members of the Boy Scout troop and is working to
become an Eagle Scout, one of the highest honors to be accourded by that organization. He was born in Culver. So far this season Tommy has not shown the basketball talent he did last year, but there is every reason to beleve that before the season ends he will finds himself and lead the team to a successful conclusion. His able floor work and handling of the ball makes him a leader in most of the offensive drive of the Indians |
