1939-1940 Basketball Profiles - Robert May
| 1940 -Here is the last of the sophmores on Coah Paul Underwood's high school nasketbal squad and so the last of this series of having players with is today. Robert May has been playing on the second tean this year for additional experience but don;t be surprised to see him on the starting five before next season's schedule is completed. He is one of the fastest men on the squad and seldom lets his man get away for a set-up shot. He has a good eye for the basket, and has surprising spring in his legs, which allows hom to come away with the ball off the backboard and outjump much taller opponents. He has been a meber of the Hi-Y for two years, and is vice-president of the Sophomre class. He was born in Culver. |  |
