1939-1940 Basketball Profiles - Peter Pedersen

1939 - Peter Pedersen, generally known at Pete, is one of the seniors on the high school basketball team, having won two varsity letters so far in baseal and track. But athletics do not take all his time. He has been a member of the Hi-Y and glee vlub for four years, in operettas twice, and in junior and senior plays. He has been president of the Junir Hi-Y, president of freshman class, president of sophmore claa, vice-president of Hi-Y, and is Hi-Y president this year. Another activity of Pete's is the Boy Scouts, in which he is doing a great job as first assistant to Scoutmaster Scruggs. He has shown ability in the scouts as a leader and should stand him in good stead in later years. He was born in Norway. |
