2022 - Feb. - Roberts Residential Quadrangle. - Thanks to the generosity of Culver
Military Academy alumnus George Roberts '62 of a $65 million donation to rebulld three significant
dormitories on campus - Main - North & East - South
Construction will begin this summer on the Roberts Residential Quadrangle, which will
include new Main, North and East barracks (Sally Port), as well as a central plaza serving as a
focal point to one of the most iconic areas of campus.
These new dormitories will replace the existing Main, North, and East barracks. Each dormitory will
house from 80 to 175 students with rooms, lounge areas, information technology support and meeting
areas, as well as office and residential areas for live-on-campus faculty and staff assigned to those
students.

2022-2023 - Construction of Main Barracks; the new foundation was laid.
Steel beams are being raised into place now.
Main Barrack will house three units, 176 cadets, three apartments for resident directors, and housing for fellows.
The building is scheduled to open in June 2024 for summer camp. |

When the North Barrack and East Barrack are rebuilt, which is projected to be completed in
2026, the Main Barrack, Lauridsen Barrack and Roberts Barrack will form the perimeter
of the Roberts Quadrangle
Sally Port will remain as it is. Main Guard and Great Hall will continue to honor Culver’s
heritage, housing a display of Culver’s Medal of Honor recipients, other military
achievements, and wood-carved lists of Culver graduates.
