and the Citizen to take a census of the town, we herewith present the results for our readers.

Every effort has been made to obtain as accurate a count as possible, and in all cases of doubt a call has been made upon some member of the family for the figures.

The list given herewith shows the names and number of each family, which includes, in all cases, all persons having a residence there, such as help, boarders, etc.

It also includes all persons attending school at other places, but not those who are employed at outside towns.

    Henry Speyer heads the list.

5 households containing but a single person.

Just outside the limits, to the north, west and south, there are about 20 families with a total of nearly 100 persons, which, while they cannot be included in the census, are to all intents and purposes residents of the town.

The census of 1900 gave the town of Culver a population of 505.

Since that time about 56 new houses have been built, or a little over one-half of the number that the town then contained.

In the same ratio of increase, our population should now approximate 800.

    Jan 16, 1908

A few errors have been discovered in the census report of Culver published in last week's Citizen.

The Henry Romig and Vanmeter families, numbering 5, were omitted, and the
      Albert Stahl,
      Bert Whitesell and
      Chas. Crabb
families, numbering 10, should not have been included as they are just outside the corporation, though to all intents and purposes village residents.
