Census Taken by the Citizen Shows a Substantial Increase Over Last Previous Count

Following a custom of past years the Citizen presents herewith a. complete census of the population of Culver within the corporate limits.

The number has now passed the 1,000 mark. The gain, though small, is steady each year.

The total is 1022.

There are 278 families, of which 19 occupy flats or living rooms over or in rear of business houses. There were 14 marriages performed by Culver pastors during 1914. Eleven colored families live within the corporate limits, with a total of 40 members. The number of residences is 255 of which but three were vacant on Jan. 1st. The number of births within the limits of the town was 25.
