1906 - May 17 The Booz Question
    Culver, the little town on Lake Maxiukuckee, which recently voted saloons out of the bailiwick, will now have a "club."

    Yesterday at Indianapolis the Maxiukuckee club of Culver was incorporated for social purposes; directors,
      J. Henry Geiger,
      Carl Rees and
      Frank Bauer,
    all Loganaport people.

    Exchange. Wolford's former saloon at the depot has been opened as a "quart house" where under a government license liquor and beer can be sold in quantities of not less than a quart to be drank on the premises.


1906 - Sep 6 - The "Club" in Court - Frank Bowers, manager of the Maxinkuckee club, was taken to Plymouth last week and on the invitation of Justice Young paid $10 and costs to the state for selling liquor without a licenses. It is stated that the charge against Bowers was selling or disposing of liquor on Sunday, and that there was but one witness for the state.

1907 - Oct 31 - Property For Sale -
    Five Lots Facing Toner avenue, part of the Kreuzberger property.

    Also the bulidng recently occupied by Burkett, and the brick beuilding of the Maxinkuckee club and the south half of the real estate owned by the Kreuzberger estate.

1907 - Dec 26 - Ed Bradley has opened the bowling alleys at the Maxinkuckee club house.
