John James CAMPBELL, 62, of 715 Neuva Gorda, Culver, died at 4:20 p.m. Friday at Holy Cross Parkview Hospital, Plymouth,
after a long illness.
He was born March 31, 1923 at Logansport to Hugh and Carrie BALL CAMPBELL, and was a lifetime resident of the Leiters Ford and Culver areas. On June 30, 1956 at Darlington, he was married to Minnie VERMILLION, who survives. He was a member of the Logansport Moose Lodge, and retired in 1982 from Rockwell International at Knox.
Surviving with the wife are a daughter, Karen BATTA; a son, Carl [CAMPBELL], and two granddaughters, Katy and Dorothy BATTA, all of Culver.
Services were to be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Leiters Ford United Methodist Church with the Rev. Robert HANSEN officiating. Burial was to be in the Leiters Ford I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
