the two Griffiths cottages just south of Maxinkuckee Landing, is preparing to join
them into one large 12 room house which will be one of the largest, if not the largest,
private residences on the lake. The proposed improvement will cost, it is said not less

Was located on the near the end of East Shore Lane not far from the Bay View
the Gumpf's owned three cottages . One was used as their personal residence;
the other as the kitchen and dinning room and the other cottage was divided
up into 8 to 10 rooms.

1913 - May 15 Miss Susannah Wallace of Indianapolis last Saturday was the
second person in the State to take out a fishing license under the new law.
This will be her 17th summer at Lake Maxinkuckee and she is an avid fisherman.
License No. 1 was obtained by W.W. Fulton, another well-known Lake Maxinkuckee
summer cottager,and nephew of Miss Wallace.

former residents of Culver having lived on Long Point for 30 years and were
summer residents many years before coming to Culver to make their home

Roy Koffell, local chiropractor has let a contract to will Obenchain, local carpenter
contractor, for the construction of a cottage at Lake Maxinkuckee. The cottage will be
built on Long Point adjoining the lot on which the Perry Moon cottage is located. -
