The marriage of Miss E. Christian Scholl niece of Mr. and Mrs. John E. Christian, to Walter Culver took place at 3 o'clock this afternoon, at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. John R. Christian, 2712 Chestnut street, Rev. Dr. Lewis, former pastor of St. John's M. E. Church, officiating. It was a very quiet affair, with no guests present, save immediate families of tbe interested parties. Tbe bribe, a pretty, graceful girl with fair hair and blue eyes, wore a very stylish traveling dress of dark blue cloth, tailor made, with tbe Directoire jacket effect, and wore a bat to match. Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Culver left for New Orleans by boat, and will return by the end of May, when they will go out to Benton to reside for the summer. She will be at home to her friends Thursdays in June at the residence of Mrs. Christian, Xo. 3742 Chestnut street. - St. Louis Post-Dispatch St. Louis, Missouri Thu, May 9, 1889


Christian S> CUlver - Mrs. Christian S> CUlver, 79, a native of Missouri, died yesterday at St.Bernardine's hospital. Survivors include two sons: Walter L. Culver of San Bernarionl and Harry S. Culver of Sacramento; a brother, M. M. Scholl of Dennisson, Texas. Funeral srevices will be held from the Stephens & Bobbitt chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday followed by interment in Mountain View cemetery - San Bernardino County Sun San Bernardino, California Wednesday, November 07, 1945
