Ernest "Bus" CARTER, 75. 1519 Madison St., Apt. 4, died at 12:15 a.m. Monday at Life Care Center, Rochester.

Born to Ernest and Goldie GOOD CARTER in Kankakee, Ill., he married Janice PLANTZ on May 25, 1947 in Culver. She survives.

Mr. Carter was a retired Culver postal worker. He was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and a member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 6919.

Survivors include two daughters, Pamela COFFEL, Bremen and Cynthia FLUM, Nashville, Tenn.; two sons, Kenneth CARTER, South Bend and Bruce CARTER, Culver; a sister, Phyllis ADAMS, Argos; two brothers, Shirley CARTER, Culver and Donald CARTER, Pace, Fla.; 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Marion CARTER, father, Ernest CARTER, step-father, Henry HINKLE, and mother, Goldie HINKLE.
