Ray Fisher, Retired Mail Carrier, Dies

    James Leonard (Ray) FIsher, 71, 215 Plymouth St, Culver, died Wednesday, Apr. 3 at 2:50 a.m. in Parkview Hopital after a three week illness.


    Mr. Fisher was a retired rural mail carrier and served 33 years a the local post office.

    He was a member of the Henry H. Culver Lodge. No. 617 F & AM and the Culver Methodist church

    He was born Sept 13, 1896 in Culver and was married June 22, 1925 to Alice Wiseman who survices along with several nieces and nephews.

    Services will be held in the Easterday-Bonine Funeral Home on Friday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Carl Baker, pastor, officiating.

    Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday afternoon until time of services.

    Burial will be in the Culver Masonic Cemetery.
