Archie Blanchard, former Resident, Dies In Florida
Word has been received here of the death of David Archie Blanchard, 86. former Culver
resident, who died at a hospital in Fort Lauderdale. Fla., Sunday morning , Jan. 27.
Mr. Blanchard suffered a heart attack on Friday.
Mr. Blanchard spent his entire lifetime in Culver until 25 years ago when he moved to
Fort Lauderdale.
Survivors include his wife, Erna; a brother,
E. P. Blanchard of Culver ; four
sisters, Mrs. Lulu Henderson and Mrs. Clara Gottsehalk, both of Culver. Mrs. Pearl Romig,
Flint, Mich., and Mrs. Essie Carlisle of Plymouth.
Services were held Tuesday. Jan. 29, in Fort Lauderdale with burial there.

Funeral Services Held For Mrs. D. A. Blanchard
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 13, at Fort Lauderdale, Florida, for
Mrs. D. A. Blanchard, who passed away on Sunday, May 11, after an illness of
nearly a year. She had been confined to her bed during most of that time.
She was 58 years old.
The Blanchards were residents of Culver for many years before going to Fort
Lauderdale a few years ago to make their home.
Surviving besides the widower, are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Asper, and one
brother, Charles Asper, all of Culver.
