CULVER - E. Perchis Blanchard, 83, of 607 Obisto St., Culver, died Sunday morning at General Hospital, Indianapolis, where he had been a patient since Jan. 3.

Born Aug. 28, 1888, at Culver, he was a lifetime resident here.

Blanchard was a retired carpenter and a member of Culver Grace United Church of Christ, past master of Henry H. Culver Lodge No. 617, F & AM, South Bend Scottish Rite, Orak Shrine, Hammond, former member of Union Twp. Fire Department and former member of Culver Town Board.

Blanchard married Mary J. Murphy on April 8, 1911, in Plymouth. She survives with a son, Earl E. Blanchard, Lighthouse Point, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Lulu Henderson, Culver; a granddaughter, and three great-grandsons.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Culver Grace United Church of Christ. Rev. John H. Krueger, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Culver Masonic Cemetery.

Friends may call, at Bonine Funeral Home, Culver, today and until noon Tuesday. Memorial services will be conducted by Henry H. Culver Lodge at 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.
