Fred Hinshaw, Former Resident, -Dies At Age 72
Fred Hinshaw, age 72. of Chauvin. Alberta, Canada, died Tuesday afternoon at the home of his brother, Robert Hinshaw. 432 S. Ohio St., Culver, where he had been visiting. Born at Amboy, Ind. on Oct. 11, 1888, Mr. Hinshaw moved with his parents to Culver in 1903.

In 1908 he left Culver and went to Chicago where he lived for a few years before going to Canada where he has resided since.

His wife, the former Lorma Howard, passed away three years ago.

Surviving are one son, Wendell of Chauvin; three sisters, Hrs. Thomas Baker, Marion. Mrs. Harvey Samons, Cromwell, and Mrs. Everett Norris. Culver: and one brother. Robert, of Culver.

The Easterday Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements which will be announced later. - Dec 7 1960

Services for Fred Hinshaw. 7. were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Dec.

10. at the Easterdav Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Kuhn, pastor of the Poplar Grove Methodist Church. officiating.

Interment was made at the Poplar Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Hinshaw, Chauvin. Alberta. Canada, died Tuesday afternoon. Dec. 6. at the home of his brother. Robert Hinshaw. 132 S. Ohio St. Culver, where he had been visiting.

Other survivors are a son. Wendell of Chauvin, and three sisters. Mrs. Thomas Baker of Marion. Mrs. Harvey Samons of Cromwell. and Mrs. Everett Norris of Culver. - Dec 14 - 1960
