    CULVER - Verl D. McFeely, 77, of 215 Lakeview St., died unexpectedly at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday in Marshall County Parkview Hospital, Plymouth.

    He was born on Sept. 21, 1904, in Culver and was a lifetime area resident.

    He retired as the superintendent of the Culver Street Department in 1975.

    On June 4, 1935, in Bourbon, he married the former Wilma Gene Menser. She survives with a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Judy) Cultice of Culver, and three grandchildren.

    Three brothers preceded him in death.

    Services wil be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Bonine Funeral Home. Rev. Thomas French, pastor of the Culver Grace United Church of Christ, will officiate.

    Burial will be in Culver Masonic Cemetery.

    Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

    Memorial contributions may be made to the Culver-Union Twp. Emergency Medical Service.

    The South Bend Tribune 1983 Dec 27 Page 7 Mrs. Verl (Gene) McFeely CULVER - Services for Mrs. Gene McFeely, 67, of 215 Lakeview St., who died Saturday afternoon in Parkview Hospital, Plymouth, after a lengthy illness, were to have been today in Bonine Funeral Home. R Rev. Walter Vonderoag {sic Vonderhoe}, pastor of Culver Grace United Church of Christ of which she was a member, was to officiate with burial in Culver Masonic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or the Marshall County Cancer Association. She was born on Jan. 9, 1916, in Culver, and was a lifelong area resident. On June 1935, Bourbon, she married Verl D. McFeely, who died on June 22, 1982. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Judy) Cultice of Culver: three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Benjamin (Doris) Rogers of Culver; and a brother, Donald Menser of Fort Myers, Fla.
