Claude Mikesell's
There was a hand written name than Claude, his sons Arthur, Clurel and
Donald all were on the Culve fire department - there was also a "R.
Mikesell" this could be Claude's brother Raymond Ralph Mikesell. More
research as to this claim has to be done if possible.

Clurel C. MIKESELL, 65, prominent Fulton county farmer, died at 12:25 a.m. today
at Parkview hospital in Plymouth after a short illness.
He resided on R.R. 1, Culver.
Mr. Mikesell was a director of the Fulton County REMC, president of the Fulton
County Farm Bureau and assistant postmaster at Leiters Ford.
Born Jan. 12, 1904, at Culver, he was the son of Claud and Clara EASTERDAY MIKESELL
and had spent his lifetime in the Leiters Ford and Culver areas.
His marriage was Nov. 28, 1924 at Plymouth, to Nellie SHIVELY, who survives.
Mr. Mikesell was a member of the Mt. Hope United Methodist church, the Maxinkuckee
I.O.O.F. lodge and the Aubbeenaubbee Township Conservation club.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Agnes KLINE, Monterey; Mrs. Betty MILLER,
Elkhart, and Mrs. Joyce PLANTE, Culver; three brothers, Donald and Oscar [MIKESELL],
both of Culver, and Arthur [MIKESELL], Milwaukee; one sister, Mrs. Opal BENEDICT,
Culver, and nine grandchildren.
Last rites will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Mt. Hope United Methodist church, northwest
of Leiters Ford. The Rev. Arthur BISHOP and the Rev. Leon HOFFER will officiate and
burial will be in the Culver Masonic cemetery.
Friends may call at the Easterday-Bonine funeral home at Culver after 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The Maxinkuckee I.O.O.F. lodge will conduct memorial services at 8 p.m. Thursday at the
funeral home.
