Joins Staff of The Cluver Clinic

William H. Fish, Culver's New Osteopth

William H. Fish, D.O., who on March 10 finished his two-year sirgical training program at South Bend Osteppathic Hospital, has joined the staff at the Culver Clinic.

Dr. Fish is a graduate of the Chicago College of Osteopathy and interened at Chicaho Osteopathic Hospital.

He practiced in Decatue, Ill.; a year before moving to South Bend.

His father was an osteopath in Decatur for 33 years before his death in 1956.

Dr. Fish was graduated from James Millikin University in Decature with an A. B. degree in 1950. In 1951 he received his marster's degree in science at Pittburg State Teachers College, Pittsburg, Kansas.

German Prisoner of War.

DUring 1943-46. "Bill" FIsh served in the chemical warfare-division of the U. S. Army. Near the end of World War II hea as a German prisoner at Stalag 4F, where he loast 30 pounds in exactly 30 days.

William H. FIsh, was born in Decatur on Sept 14, 1925. HIs wife Helen, is a native of Newpuryport, a suburb of Boston, Mass. They have three children: Larry, 4; Pamela, 11; and Sheila 12.

Dr. Fish is a Methodist and was a member of DeMolay in his southy. He joined Tau Kappa Epsilon, social fraternity, while a student at Millikin.

ROCHESTER — Dr. William H. Fish D.O., 84, of Rochester, died at 9:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, 2009 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

He is survived by his wife Beverly; daughters, Deborah (Chris) Barrick of Indianapolis and Jennifer (Mark) Hott of Rochester; a son, Jack Price of Fort Wayne; a sister, Dr. Maxine (Don) Huffman of Pella, Iowa; and brothers, John (Joann) Fish of Raleigh, N.C. and Lance (Linda) Fish of Des Moines, Iowa.

Visitation will take place from 1 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12 at the Good Family Funeral Home, 1200 W. 18th St., Rochester.

Funeral services will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Arlington National cemetery, Arlington, Va.

Helen FISH, 73, of Forrest Park Health Care Center, Kokomo, formerly of 1229 Jackson Blvd., Rochester, died at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Hospital, Kokomo, following a 6-year illness.

She was born in Newburyport, Mass. to Michael and Dehelia FARRINGTON LYONS. She lived in Rocheser for 29 years after living in Culver and South Bend.

She was a nursing supervisor at Memorial Hospital, Logansport, for many years and retired in 1986. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rochester.

Suriving are three daughters, Mrs. Greg (Sheila) SHEPHERD and Pamela FISH, both of Rochester, and Mrs. Chris (Deb) BARRICK, Indianapolis; one son, Dr. Larry FISH (formerly of Rochester), Red Bluff, Calif; two granddaughters, Angie COOK, Argos, and Leah BARRICK, Indianapolis; four grandsons, Craig CROW, South Bend, and Ryan, Jeremy and Joey FISH, all of Red Bluff, Calif., and one sister, Mary SULLIVAN, Newburyport, Mass. Preceding in death was one brother, James LYONS. -Wednesday, January 25, 1995

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father John ZAHN officiating.

Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester.

A vigil wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
