CULVER - Roger P. Bruett of Culver, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 28, 2016, in Indinanapolis,
Indiana, following an illness. |
He was born March 26, 1940 in Chicago, Illinois to Robert V. and Pauline Perry Bruett. A proud veteran, Roger served
our country with the 7th Infantry Division of the Army in Korea, and then as a Reservist, from 1963 to 1966.
As a true outdoorsman, he traveled from Wisconsin to Indiana, and even Arkansas, to fish, hunt, and go snowmobiling.
He was a hardworking Union Electrician for Acme Steel, retiring in 1994.
he lure of Lake Maxinkuckee and great friends lead him to choose Culver as home during his retirement. He spent those
retirement years fishing, pursuing his love of woodworking, and spending time with those who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. He is survived by numerous coworkers, fishing buddies, and friends
he met along his life's journey.
here will be a memorial celebration of Roger's life on Saturday, September 17, 2016, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., with a
