selected a site for a similar plant at Brazil, Ind. and work on that will begin
at once.

1900 - Jan 30 - Local Ice Matters
A New Firm Organized to Deal in the Article
The local office of the Maxinkukcee Ice Company refuses to confirm the
statement that the manufacture of ice would ceas in South Bend this year.
When asked if there was any truth in the statement made several days ago
the local management expressed both surprise and ignorance on the subject
and stated that it had heard nothing of any such arrangerment.
The management, however confirmed that report that Messers Beck and
Hollingsworth had severed their connection with the Madinkuckee compant
and would during the present year start another company.
It is thought that the new company will deal solely in lake ice and will
not attempt to manufacture the article. South Bend Tribune (Indiana)
