Film Shows Harvesting of Maxinkuckee ice ,
Added feature at the Lana theater today and Saturday is a special film showing the harvesting
and packing og the ice crop at Lake Maxinkuckee. The picture was filmed at the lake last winter
by Glen Obenchain, local photographer, and shows all equipment of the lake Maxinkuckee Ice
company at work including the motor driven ice cutter, the movement of the ice into the houses at
the rate of one hundred and fity cakes a minute and other interesting phases of the harvest.

The people of logansport have an pportunity to see all the equipment of the Lake Maxinkuckee Ice
company at work when the Luna theater presents an added apptraction in scenes of this activity
today.
The motor driven ice cutter, the movement of the ice up the elevator into the hoses and other
interesting phases of the harvest will be screeded for the public. The hugh cakes shown average
160 pounds and were cut at the rate of 32,000 per day
