Culver Business Snippets

Some exact locations of these are unknown at the present time or maybe just an inkling as to where they may of been. but I do want to list them for the record .

This is just a rough beginning of this listings. With no addresses in the early years just the street name it is hard to place them correct - or the proverbial one block east, west or near the depot... if you remember won't you help?

Beaver's saloon
Vanschoiack's store
These are found metioned as such in the history to the Citizen in the Jul 11, 1974 issue:
"There is talk," says the paper, "of building a brick block from Vanschoiack's store to Beaver's saloon, by capitalists from abroad. It occurs to us that would be a pretty good location, as there is a store there that sells everything from a toothpick up."

Ratzrer has put up a branch gallery in Marmont and will make sittings every Tuesday

The Exchange Grocery and Meat Market was kept by E.B. Vanschoiack.

2nd floor L. W. Keech's cigar factory

April 1 – L. W. Keech of Kewanna has rented the second story of the bakery building and will remove his cigar factory to Culver
Cement Block Manufacturing - John Osborn

These pages will dwindle down as we find the exact business location and address - and move them to those pages - or even start a seperate page just for the business depending upon the amount of "Snippets" for it .
