Foster F. Sheller Will Practice Dentistry Here

    Culver will welcome a second new dentist about the middle of April. He is Foster F. Sheller, D.D.S., who currently is practicing in Washington D.C.


    Dr. Sheller will take over the new and modern dental office at 605 College avenue established just a year ago by Dr. George C. Crouse of Anderson, will known Lake Maxinkulcee summer resident .


    Dr. Crouse, who has returned to his extensive practice in Anderson, will spend a few days here going over case histories with his successor and introducing him to Culver.

    Born in North Manchester

    A natice of North Manchester, Indiana. Dr. Sheller graduated form Indiana University School of
    Denistry and continued his post-graduate work at the famous Mayo Clinic

    He practiced in Fort Wayne 10 years before moving to Washington, where for two years he was a member and staff adviser of the Group Health Association in charge of crown and bridge work

    A pioneer in the use of different plastics, he has worked with the Bureai of Standards on new dental materials and has cooperated with the Army, Navu and Coast Guard clinicans.

    Dr. Sheller is a member of the American Deantal Association and the District of Columbia Dental Society as well as being a 32nd. degree Scottish Rite Mason.

    Wife a Registered Nurse

    The field of health has engrossed the entire family. Mrs. Sheller is a registered nurse, having graduated from New York Presbyterian Hospital. Their daughter a graduate of Fone's School in Connecticut, is working now as her father's dental hygienist; their son, comppletingh his third year of pre-dental studies will ente I.U.'s School of Denistry next fall.

    As a fishin enthusiast, Dr. Sheller will find Marshall COunty and Lake Maxinkuckee a fertile area. He also has enjoyed the active part he played in leading the Cub and Boy Scouts and church and youth groups

    He writes that he thinks it is about time to give way to the tension and hustle of the city and return to his native state, and just enjoy being a Hoosier again

    Eleanor Stacy to Assist

    Mrs. Eleanor Stacy of Culver, a Georgetown University graduate and registered dental hygienist, will be in the office with Dr. Sheller. Mrs. Stacy was in charge of the Curtis Dental Clinic for the Public Health Service in Washington D. C. for ten years.
