Jack Allen Fenimore  

Jack Allen Fenimore, 90, of Newburgh, Indiana, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Hamilton Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center

Jack was born in South Bend, Indiana on November 22, 1922 to Fred and Caroline (Angeledes) Fenimore.

He is a WWII Army Air Corp Veteran where he achieved rank of First Lieutenant. Jack was a Fighter Pilot and battled during the New Guinea Campaign (1942-1945). He was decorated with the Air Medal 4 Oak Leaf Clusters.

In addition to Jack's honorable service to our country, his career took him to Hollywood. Jack is a 40-year veteran of film and television production. He worked with stars such as Rod Serling, Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, Victor Borge, Helen Hayes and Kim Novak. Jack excelled in New York's high-powered advertising arena, producing films for business giants like Whirlpool, IBM and Magic Chef. Fenimore's work has been recognized at the New York Film Festival and Columbus Film Festival.

One of his films produced for Hughes Aircraft Co. was nominated for an Academy Award.

In 1973 Jack moved from New York City to Evansville and began working for Keller Crescent as a director/producer in their advertising agency, he retired in 1982. Jack was an awesome man and a lived a full life.

Jack is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bula Kay Fenimore of Newburgh, IN; son, Teddy (Tonya) Reynolds of Aberdeen, MD; daughters, Linda Castello of Idaho and Vickie (Mark) Bulich of Boonville, IN; sisters, Marjorie Hart of Winchester, ID and Brenda (Craig) Anderson of Backus, MN; grandchildren, Lynna Pfingston of Henderson, KY, Chelsea and Paige Reynolds of Aberdeen, MD, Richard Castello, Jonathan Castello, and Kristy Jensen all of Idaho; 7 grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren; nieces, Becky Lewis, Amy and Julie Mourhess, Crista Chiaramonte; nephews, Curtis Bussiere, Eric Mourhess, and C.J. Klepacz; brother-in-law, Richard Mourhess.

Jack is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia Manske.
