Logansport Pharos-Tribune FRIDAY EVENING, MAY 20, 1966. F. R. Kniesly Succumbs To Heart Attack

Forest R. Kiesly, 46, branch manager of the James I. Barnes Construction company, died at 12:20 a.m. Friday at his residence, 319 Davis Road. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

He was born Jan. 12, 1920, in Bradford, Ohio, to Daniel and Cora (Hile) Kniesly.

He was married on July 14, 1947, to Virginia Barnes, who survies.

Also surviving are one daughter, Kathy, three sons, John, Tom, and Tim, all at home; four brothers, Othal, Chicago; Harold, route 3; Norbert, route 4; and Freelin, 2309 1/2 East Broadway; several nieces and nephews. Two brothers preceded him in death.

He was a member of St. James Lutheran church, Orient Masonic lodge, and the Logansport rotary club.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Saturday at the Kroeger funeral home where final rites will be Conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday. the Rev. Alfred Gerni will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery. - Logansport Pharos-Tribune FRIDAY EVENING, MAY 20, 1966. br>





Forest Kniesly Dies At 46

Funeral for Forest R. (Red) Kniesly, 46, of 319 Davis Kd., will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Kroeger Funeral Home. Pastor Alfred Gerni will officiate, and burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Kniesly, branch manager of James I. Barnes Construction Company, died of a heart attack at 12:20 a.m. Friday at his home.

He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Orient Masonic Lodge and the Logansport Rotary Club.

He was a Logansport High School basketball star in the mid-1930's.
