    Clara L. Medland, 70, Scottsdale, Ariz., a former Logansport resident, died at 8 a.m. Saturday at her home.

    She was horn Oct. 18,1912, in Logansport to James I. and Emily Engelbrecht Barnes. She was married to James Medland, who preceded her in death Jan. 24,1976.

    Surviving are two sons, Robert, Paradise Valley, Ariz.; and James, Phoenix; six sisters, Virginia Kniesley, 229 Winding Brook Trail; Betty Muehlhausen and Marjorie Sparling, both of Culver ; Doris Hillis, Orlando, Fla.; Lucille Drompp, 2809 E. Broadway; and Emily Studebaker, Miami. Fla.; and four grandchildren.

    Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Kroeger Funeral Home, the Rev. A.W. Schubert officating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery

    Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the funeral.
