Joseph Edwards, Former Resident, Dies in Missouri
Joseph F. Edwards , age 47, of Blue Springs, Mo., died unexpectedly Tuesday, Aug. 17, while at.
work at the Kansas City Municipal Air Terminal where he suffered a heart attack. He was an
electronic technician and had been employed 20 years by the Federal A v i a t i o n Agency.
Mr. Edwards was born in Marshall County, Ind., the son of Lillie Edwards and the late Chester
Edwards. He was a veteran of World War I I , serving as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army, and
was a member of the Chapel Hill Presbyterian Church in Blue Springs.
He leaves his wife, Frances Edwards ; two sons, David C. and Robert S. Edwards ; and two stepdaughters,
Carolyn Morgan and Linda Morgan, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Lillie Edwards, Culver ; and four
sisters, Carmen Edwards and Nancy McNeal, Culver , Mrs. Martha DeMike, Edwardsburg,
Michigan, and Mrs. Carol Mitchell, West Lafayette,
Services were held Friday,. Aug. 20, at the Miaylfield Chapel, Blue Springs. Burial Was in the Blue
