Local Fish Club to Remove Coarse Fish

Secure State Permit to Spear Predatory Fish

The Macinkuckee Fish and Game Club has received a permit to spear carp, gar and other predatory fish from Lake Maxinkuckee.

This is one of the first permits of the kinf to be issued a clubm the work formerly being done by the State Commission Department.

The rules regarding this cleaning of the lake by a club, as issued by the state, require that a club must secure permission befor starting work. The spears to be used shall at all time be under the direct supervision and control of the local game warden.

A local officer of the club is to be directly responsible fot the spears and must keep a record of their issuance. Not less than two and not more than six spears are tp be alloted to each club.

Officers in Charge.

All spearing parties snet out by the club shall be in charge of an officer of the club or someone holding a commission as a deputy game warden.

Spears shall not be issued by the custodian for a longer perion than twelve hours.

It is understood that in consideration of the Conservation Department giving this permission to the club, the members shall report all violations of the fish and game laws to the deputy game warden and that they use their influence to promote a better observance of the fish and game laws in this locality.
