Maxinkuckee Player Announce Plans For Summer Season Here

PLans of the Maxinkuckee Pklayers for a summer theatre here at Lake Maxinkuckee are beginning to take final shape and a interesting series of dramatic productions are alreasy scheduled

Officials of the newly founded Maxinkuckee Players group have announced that final papers have been signed for the East Shore Lane property formerly occupied by the Maxinkuckee Vacation Club

Martin Tahse of Cincinnati, assistant manager of the Maxinkuckee Players, has announced that remodeling of the building will begin at once.

The summer theater season will open June 27 with the presentation for one week of "Dream Girl" and close the first week in September with "You Can't Take It WIth You"

Other plays scheduled for production by the Players are: "Ah WIlderness", "Laura", "All My Sons", "My Sister EIleen", "Our Town", "Born Yesterday", "GOlden Boy", "Night Death", and "Glass Menagerie"

SPonsors of the group plan to bring to CUlver a company of 15 actors and actesses, all of whom have been selected from more than 40 who recently tired out.

Canadidate applied from various drama school including the University of Cincinnati, Xavier University and the Schuster-Martin School of Drama.

Local sponsors of the group include J. Gerald Markley, Anne Ellsworth, Betty Shetterly and Dorothy Oberlin.
