Anson Lee OVERMYER, 57, of Lake Maxinkuckee, passed away Friday at Excelsior Springs, Mo., according
to word received here today. Death was due to complications.
Mrs. Overmyer and son will go to Excelsior Springs and will return to Lake Maxinkuckee with the body.
Funeral arrangements are as yet incomplete.
Anson Overmyer, eldest son of W. F. OVERMYER, is the brother of Charles S. OVERMYER of this city. -

Funeral services for Anson L. OVERMYER, who passed away last Friday at Excelsior Springs, Mo.,
were held at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the Maxinkuckee church.

Lee married Zanna Aletta "Letty, Lettie" Savage daughter of Daniel Savage and
Mary Lichtenberger or Listenberger. Zanna was born 20 Jan 1892. She died 9 Oct
1971 in Plymouth, Marshall, Indiana. Burial: Richland Center IOOF Cemetery, Richland

Mrs. Zanna Aletta "Letty" OVERMYER, 78, R.R. 1, Culver, died at 3:30 a.m. today in the National nursing
home in Plymouth after an extended illness.
She was born Jan. 20, 1892 southeast of Culver to Daniel and Mary LISTENBERGER SAVAGE. She was
married in 1912 to Anson OVERMYER, who die
d in April, 1942. She was a longtime member of the
Maxinkuckee United Methodist church.
Surviving are a daughter, Miss Wilda Jean OVERMYER, Palatine, Ill.; a son, Earl Dean OVERMYER, Culver;
four grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and two brothers, Stephen SAVAGE, Argos, and Alva,
Culver. Three sisters and three brothers are deceased.
Last rites will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Grossman funeral home at Argos with the Rev. Earl SHARP o
fficiating. Burial will be in the Richland Center I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday.
They lived on 18th B. Rd., Maxinkuckee village and operated the general store there as "Ason Overmyer
General Merchandise"
