Mr. Arthur S. Morris, 93, formerly of 480 Lakev.iew Street, passed away at 3:00 a. m. on Saturday. September 29, 1973, at the Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac. He had been in failing health for the past five years.

He was born in Culver on July 23. J 880. to Oliver and Margaret Morris. and was a lifetime resident of Culver.

He was an accountant at the Culver Military Academy until his retirement. He was a member of Culver Grace United Church of Christ.

On March 10. 1904, he was married to Josephine A. Overman in Culver. She preceded him in death on June 9, 1964

Surviving are three daughters._Mrs. Harold (Margaret Ellen) Derek. Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Donald (Lob Bess) Hand, Culver; and Mrs. William (Aida Jo) Dickinson, Orlando, Florida; one son. Clyde Morris,. Cleveland, Ohio; eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 11:00. a.m. on Monday. October 1. at the'Grace United Church of Christ, with the pastor. Rev. John H. Krueger , officiating. Burial followed in Culver Masonic Cemetery. - CUlver CItizen

Josephine Morris, Culver Native, Dies At Age 82

Mrs. Josephine A . Morris, 82, die ed at 3 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, at her residence, 480 Lakeview St. Culver, following an illness of two months.

Mrs. Morris was born Nov. 27, 1881, in Culver, and was married in Culver to Arthur S. Morris, on March 10, 1904. The couple had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year.

She was a member of the Culver Grace United Church of Christ.

Surviving with the husband, Arthur S. Morris, are one son, Clyde Morris. Miami, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Ellen Derck, Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Lois Bess Hand, Culver, Mrs. Alda Jo Bickinson, Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Elma Menser, Culver; 11 grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 11 , at the Easterday-Bonine Funeral Home, Culver, with the Rev. Harold Hohman, pastor of the Culver Crace United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial w i l l be made in the Culver Masonic cemetery.
