William Lichtenberger & I. H. Cook

We have With us Today....

One of the joys of being retired is to sit around and watch the other fellow work, and that is just what WIlliam Lichtenberger (left) and I. H. Cook are doing.

They are viewing and discussing the methods used in paving Main street.

The above picture was unposed as both were so interested in followiing the workmen that they didn't see the photographer.

Mr. Litchenberger was born in Marshall county in 1850, making him on of the lodest natives of the county in this community. He farmed for a numer of years in Fulton county and moved to Culver 27 years ago.

Mr. Cook was born in Ohio and is now enjoying his 84th year. He also farmed for many years near Leiters Ford, but was a painter after moving to Culver in 1926
