N. W. Rector, Retired Druggist, Dies Here


Nathan William Rector, age 80, retired druggist, died at the home of his son, Steffen, N. Rector, early Monday Morning after an illness of several weeks.

Born at Knox, Ind., he had lived in Culver since 1908. He was actively engaged in the retail drug business at Ingalls, Ind., and operated Rector's Pharacy here for 43 years, retiring eight years ago.

He was a member of the Methodist church and the Culver Masonic lodge.

Surviving are three sons, Frank of Pendleton, Steffen N. of Culver and Gray G. of South Bend.; one sister Ida Parker of Culver; seven grandchildren and three great=grandchildren.

Funeral services were held this morning at the Easterday Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph M. Jones in charge.

Burial was in the Mendon Cemetery at Pendleton, Indiana. - 22 Jan 1947 - Citizen
