Messrs. S. P. Shromp of Shelbyville, Indiana and C. R. Shromp of Danville, Ill. were guests at the Glossbrenner cottage over Sunday.

W. E. Shedd and wife of Danville, Ill., gave a house party at their cottage on the east side last week. All were enjoyable entertained.

Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Williams who have been residing at Santiago, Cal. for the past ten years are occupying the W. H. Porter cottage

Mr. D. P. Cox of Terre Haute, has rented the Albrecht cottage for the season Miss Cox and neice arrived at the lake Monday and took possession.

Mr. W. P. Bair a graduate of Culver and an instructor in the academy during the last winter and spring terms is at the Woolen cottage for a few days.

Mr. and Mrs. Rob't Rannels, Mr. Earl Barr of Rochester, Miss Stella Bailey of Peru, Miss Mary and James Hurst, of Wagoner are guests at the barr cottage.

John Wood is at home for an indefinite time. He has just returned from a Louisvile Sanitarium where he has bee taking treatment for rheumatism.

Col. and Mrs. Fleet and Reginald Fleet left Friday morning for Col. Fleet's old home in King and Queen county Virginia where the will stay for the next month.

The following people are being entertained at a house party at the Shed cottage: Misses Mann, Snyder and Baum; Messrs Penwell and Clements of Danville, Ill.

Mr. Hieland, president of the Vigo National Bank, of Terre Haute will occupy the Windemeyer cottage this season. His mother and sister will he here also.

Mrs. W. W. Wilison, who has been at the Palmer House with her husband for ten days, whas returned to Capt Wilson's home at Wiona Lake, where she is doing some special studying on the pipe organ.

Mr. and Mrs. bittinger, mr. and Mrs. Lon Stockberger of Rochester have been spending the week at the Plank cottage on Long Point and report fishing very good as they caught more than the could eat and in the catch was a pike weighing 7 lbs.

There will be a business meeting of the members of the lake Maxinkuckee association held at the Palmer house on July 25th. next at 2 o'clock p.m. Matters of importance will be brought before the meeting and all member are earnestly requested to be present.
