Otto Stechan, Of Indianapolis, spent Sunday at the lake.

Mr. and Mrs. Claok, of Chicago, are at Rector's hotel for two weeks.

Joseph Strong, of Terre Haute, spent Sunday with his family at their cottage.

Mrs. Milton Shirk and her sons, Albert and Earl, of Peru spent Sunday at their cottage.

Mrs. J. E. Barnes; Ben Barnes and wife; George Barnes spent Sunday at their cottage on Long point.

Mr. S. Ede, of New castle, England, is spending a few days at the lake. He is the guest of R. E. Edwards.



Mr. Parsons, of the State Normal school at Terre Haute, has rented one of Judge Capron's cottages and will spend the summer at the lake. George B. Yance, of Indianapolism has rented the A. B. Gates' cottage for the season, which is now occupied by Mr. Yance and his neice, Mrs. Robinson.

The Misses Vonnegut , of Indianapolis, are at their cottage this week. They killed a four and a half foot snake of the blue racer species a few days ago.

J. H. Vajen, of Indianapolis spent the fore part of the week repairing his cottage and cleaning the grounds gettin rady for a season's pleasure and ease.

Judge A. C. Capron and F. K. Brook spent Sunday on the east side of the lake. The judge is always ready for a fishing trip and enjoys the sport very much.

Dr. B. W. Everman, U. S. fish commissioner, was at the lake ovoer Sunday. He takes great interest in stocking the lake with the kind of fish that thrive best here and afford greatest sport in catching.

C. O. Keffley and Mrs. Kock, of Logansport, have taken possession of the Christian cottage for the summer. They bought with them the 'Ariadne' a gasoline pleasure launch, which was launched last week.

Otto Stechan, of Indianapolis, is here and will remodel and repair his boat house. He has one of the best equipped boat houses around the lake and takes a special ride in keeping his property in good condition.

Misses Marie Stuart, Aleys Ankeny and Hugh Andress, of Lafayette; Misses Marie Rogers, Mary Love, Messrs. Bert Stuart, Dr. Bartholoomew, Chas. Sampson and Geo. Graffis, of Logansport; Miss Grace Jenckes, of Terre Haute and R. E. Edwards of Peru; dined with Muss Mary Forman at the Snider cottage.
