There were two excursions in last Sunday besides the reg ular trains. One was from Huntington over the Erie Railroad. Thi s excursion was accompained by the Hunnnntington band, a exceptionally - musical organistation. The other excurison was from Terre Haute in all about twenty Coaches

A number of the cottagers are leaving the lake, mostly those who have children who attend public schools

H. J. Wilson, U. S. Minister to Chili S. A. landed in Boston Aug. 15. He is home on a leave of absence and will spend the next two weeks at the Vajen cottage. Mrs. Wilson, Mrs Vorhees and Mrs Collins met him in Indianapolis on Thursday.
