1915 Sep 2 - Medbourn & Lenon are having the timber thined out on the Vandalia Park Addition preparatory to laying out the ground into blocks and streets.

1923 - May 2 - Paving Bidders Here - Prospective bidders for the paving of Liberty and Helen Streets in the Vandalia Park addition have been in town getting their data for the letting of the contract by the town board on Monday night.

1926 Mar 3 - Helen Street is passes; name is now forest place

Property owners along Helen street were dissatisfied with the name given the thoroughfare passing along the front of their residences. a petition was circulated and signed by the majority of thpse in question which was presented to the board of trustees of Culver last Monday night.

The petition was favorably acted upon and now the street is Forest Place
