session on the 6" day of February 1899 at 7 O'clock P.M.

The following bill was presented
Town of CUlver City to O. A, Rea Dr for office rent mine months $1.00 per month $9.00
On motion said bill was allowed and ordered paid.
On motion which was duly seconded and carried the clerk was instructed to draw orders
for all salaries due the different Town officers.
On motion said Board adjourned

Main St. and running West to the Wet side of OHio st. along the SOuth
side of lots No 10 in original Platt and lot no 1 in Geo. w. Garn add.

On motion which was duly seconded and carried the above petition was granted

done July 1899 two teams twenty hours each twelve ($12.00) dollar James

On motion which was duly seconded and carried the biill was laid on the table
until the next regular meeting.
On motion which was duly sceonded and carried the clerk was instructed to
draw an in favor of cha. P. Drummond of Plymouth for thirty five ($35.00)
dollars amount due him for services as attorney for town and further
the clerk was instructed to notify said Chas. Drummond the his services as
town attorney would be dispensed with for the for the present
And be it further remembered that on motion which was duly seconded and
carried Mr. W> B. Hess of Plymouth was selected and appointed as attorney
for the town for the ensueing year beginning March 7" 1899 at thirty five
($35.00) dolllars per annum

In the matter of Kreuzbergers addition to the Town of CUlver City Marshall co. Indiana
COmes now RObert Kreuzberger and submits to the Board his addition to the town of Culver
City Marshall Co. Indiaina and asks that the same be confirmed and approved by the said
Boardof Trusteed of said Town and the Board now appoints Abraham Hayes and S. E.
Medbourn as a special committtee to examine said plat and said committtee is directed to
report at the present meeting of the said Board of Trustees.
The said committee comes now and reports on said matter as follows.
Tothe HOnorable Board of Trustees of the Town of Culver City, Indiana
You committee towhom was referred the matter of the plat of Kreuzbergers
addition to the said town comes no and reports that they have examined said
plat and that they are acquainted with this ground patted and that said plat is in
all thing regular correct and proper and recommends that the same be confirmed
and approved and accepted by this Board as an addition to said town.

Upon the reprot of said committee S. E. Medbourn a member of said Board offers
the following resolution and moves its adotion whicc motion is seconded by Abraham Hayes
a memebr of said board.
Whereas S. E> Medbourn and abraham Hayes the special committee to
whom was referred the plat of Kreuzberger addition to the town of Culver City Ind.
made their report that they hace made due examination of said plat and are
acquaited with the ground platted and recomends the adoption of the said plat
Thereforebe it resovlled that said plat be and is hereby in all things approved and
confirmed adopted and accepted by the Board of Trustees of said town.
Upon the adoption of said rresulutin those voting in the affirmative were O. A. Reas
Abraham Hayes and S. E. Medbourn. Those being no votes in the negative the President
of the Board declared said resolution carried and adopted and said plat approved
confirmed adoptive and accepted.

On account of Geo. W. Garn refusing to accept the officei of School trustee. Samuel Easterday
was appointed school trustee for the term of three years or until his succession is
elected and qualified. On motion which was duly recorded and carried J. H. Zechiel and J. H.
Castleman was accepeted as bondsmen for J. k. Mawhorter instead of W. H. Wilson who
reassigned.

And it was there upon moved by said Young that siad Ordiance be passed and
adopted as read. Which motion was duly seconded by trustee Medbourn and
the yeas and nays were duly taken by the President of siad board on said motion
Trustees S. E. Medbourn and D B Young voting in the affirmative and the
President of said Bord O. A. Rea, declared said motion carried and said Ordiance
passed and adopted and it was then moved by Trustee S. E. Medbourn that
the clerk of said board be instructed and directed to publish said Ordiance for
two successive issues in the Culver City Herald, a weekly news paper of general
circulation published in the town of Culver City Indiana which motion was duly
seconded by Trustee D. B. Young and the yeas and nars were taken on siad
motion by the President of said board and Trustees Medbourn and Young voted in the
affirmative and the President of said board declared said motion carried and the
said clerk was ordered to publish said ordiinance in accordance with said motion.
And b e it further remembered that trustee Medbourn moved that clerk notify the
MArshall that he and his bondsman will be held for all damage done by broken
side walks and cross walks. that are dangerous to life or limb not repaired in ten
days from date of this notice and to purchase lumber for said purpose where he
could __th best. Said motion was duly seconded by trustee Young and carried

session on the 21st day of Aug. 1899 at 8 O'clock P.M.

Be it ordained by the board of trustees of the town of Culver City Indiana that the
following levy of taxes be and is hereby made for the yeR 1900 for said town
towit:
For corporation purposes on each one hundred ($100.00) dollars valuation of the
taxable property of said town Forty (40) cents and on each poll twenty five (25)
cents.
For Tuition purposes on each one hundred (100) dollars valuation of the taxable
property of said town thirty five (35) cents and on each poll twenty five (25) cents
On each one hundred (100) dollars valuation of the taxable property of said town
for road purposes twenty five (25) cents.
Whereas an emergency exists for the immediate taking effect of this ordiance it shall
therefore be in force and effect from and after its passage.
Trustee S. E. Medbourn moved that the same be placed upon its final passage. And the
yeas and nays were taken upon said motion. Trustee Medbourn Voting in the
affirmative and the President O. A. Rea. declared said motion carried. It was them moved
by Trustee Medbourn that said ordiance be passed and adopted as read. The yeas and
nays were taken on said motion Trustee Medbourn voted in the affirmative and the
President O. A. Rea. declared motion carried and said said ordiiance passed
and adopted as read
Trustee Medbourn moved that the clerk notify telephone companies to not cut
limbs or otherwise injure shade trees within the limits of the town of |

On motion the bill of J. K. Mawhorter was laind on table until next meeting
The clerk was instructed to notify marshall to notify Rachel Vories to have her side
walk completed by Nov. 10 1899 Also to notify Cha. Curtis to have side walk completed
on the west side of his lor on Main street by Nov. 10 1899. Providing grade is ready for
walk.
S. E. Medboun was appointed committee for Sale of trees on street.

On motion the clerk was instructed to draw orders for salerys due town officials
The marshall was instructed to notify Mrs Clement to build side walk on the south side
of her lor with in the next twenty days, if not completed by that thine the marshall was
ordered to buid the same. The marshall was ordered to get gravel from bunker hill to
patch the streets.
