Chauncey B. Lennen, 90, of 922 Lakeshore Dr., died at 5:26 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7, 1977
at St. Joseph's Hospital of Marshall County.
On July 5, 1906 in Greenfiled, IL, he was born to Guy B. and Gertrude (Anderson) Lennen.
Lennen had resided in Culver for the past 51 years coming from Anderson. He was a member
of Wesley United Methodist Church, Finney-Shilling VFW Post #6919, Collins-Tasch American
Legion Post #149, former H. H. Culver Lodge #617 F & AM and was a past worthy patron of
the former Emily Jane Culver Chapter Order of Eastern Star.
He was a World War II Army veteran and was a retired print pressman who worked at Culver Press.
On Oct. 28, 1947 at Kentland, he married to Ruth G. Behmer. She preceded him in death on May,
1989.
Survivors include: one sister, Josinah Conger of Phoenix, AZ; a brother-in-law, Winfiled W. Behmer of
Culver, four nieces and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
