      Samuel G.Williamson of Fort Wayne and Miss Hazel Porter of this place were united in matrimony on Thursday of last week at the M. E. parsonage in Pylmouth by Rev. F. O. Fraley

      For the present they are making their home with the parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Porter.

      Mrs. Williamson is an employe of the Central Union Telephone Compnay, coming to Culver last summer.

      His genial qualities have made him popular with the young people and his industrious habits have given him an approved standing with his company and with the community generally

      Samuel G. Williamson, who has been elected county surveyor, has had an engineering experience ofseveral years in city work in AUburn, Ind.,and in interurban railway service. He will give faithul attention to his new dutie, and we expect him to maka good record. 13 Feb 1918
    Williamson children Get $5,000 Insurance Money
      five thousand dollars has been sent by an insurance company to the State Exchange Bank to be held in trust b y that organization for the children of the deceased Samuel G. Williamson.

      There has been some little legal entabglement over this amounty but the case was finally ironed out last week in curcuit court and the bank was named guardian. The money has been placed on interest and will be held until the children become of age.

      There are four chilcren: Helen Louise, age 14; Virginia Ruth, age 10; Stanton Porter, age 8 and Martha Jane, age 5

      Former Culver Resident Passes Away WIth Tuberculosis of The Stomach

      This community was grieved to learn of the death of Mrs. Hazel WIlliamson Wednesday noon at her home in SOuth Bend.

      Tuberculosis of the stomach, with which she had been suffering for about a year, was given as th cause.

      She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Porter, well known in this vicinity.

      She was thirty-seven years of age, and until three ears of age, and until three years ago, had spent of her life in Culver where she was born.

      SHe is survived by her father and mother and four children.

      The funeral services will be held Friday afternoon, July 8th, at 2:00 5 o'clock at the Methodist church
    Obituary
      MArgaret Hazel, only childr of William and Eva Porter, was born in Culver, Indiana Nov. 14, 1890. Died July 6 1927

      She joined the Culver M.E>church in 1905, under the ministry of the G. R.Streeter, and has been a faithful member all her life.

      On Feb 16, 1910, she was untied in marriage to Samuel Williamson, to which union for children were born: Helen Louise, Virginia Ruth, Stanton Porter and Martha Jane.

      Mrs Williamson was a Christian wmonam, appriciative of the church of God, devoted to her ifamily, and loyal to her friends.

      She is survived by her father and mother and her for children and many firends.
